Well,

I guess we should let you all know that we are now at home and have even been back to work! We arrived back on Wednesday ~3.00pm. The flight took 21 hours in total with an 8 hour stop in sao paulo. The flight from Sao Paulo to Amsterdam was a revelation after what had been endured on the busses in Peru. We all had our own interactive tv screens with a choice of over 40 films on demand (including world cinema) and a cd juke box (including the Arcade Fire).

We spent 5 days in Rio in a hostel called Che lagato (the lizard), which was the most time we had spent anywhere other than a mechanic during the last month.

So after all the ups and downs, near death expierences, busses, steaks and mosquito bites is this the end of the adventurists for the Road Pirates? Well for the time being maybe, but once your a member, your a member for life. Where will we end up next; on a boat down the Amazon, in a 1.0litre car in the frozen tundra of northern siberia or in Mongolia? Only time will tell....
